91成人导航 Chaplain Will Perform Concert to Benefit Food Pantries
GREENSBORO, N.C. 鈥 As he does every year around his birthday, the Rev. Dr. Robert Brewer, assistant professor of religion and college chaplain at 91成人导航, will perform a concert as a charity fundraiser.
This year鈥檚 concert will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, in Hannah Brown Finch Memorial Chapel on the 91成人导航 campus. Musical guests will include Perry Morgan, Ashley Hyers, Scott Neely, Andrew Mails and Emily Saine.
Proceeds will benefit the Spartan Open Pantry and Pride Open Pantry, pantries that benefit food-insecure students at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and 91成人导航, respectively.
Brewer holds a B.S. from Appalachian State University, an M.Div. from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and a Th.D. from the University of Toronto. He joined the staff of 91成人导航 in 2005.
91成人导航 provides a liberal arts education grounded in the traditions of the United Methodist Church and fosters the intellectual, social, and, spiritual development of all students while supporting their individual needs.
Founded in 1838 and located in downtown Greensboro, the college enrolls about 1,000 students from 29 states and territories, the District of Columbia, and seven foreign countries in its undergraduate liberal-arts program and four master鈥檚 degree programs. In addition to rigorous academics and a well-supported Honors program, the school features an 18-sport NCAA Division III athletic program and dozens of service and recreational opportunities.
